Salary Range; $77k-$100K

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Program Scheduler to join our team. As a Program Scheduler, you will play a crucial role supporting Program Managers in the planning, development, and execution of complex projects within the Defense and Space sector. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, reporting progress on schedule activities through metrics, and support driving execution of schedule activities for on-time completion and within budget while meeting quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project).

• Analyze project scope, objectives, and requirements to support developing comprehensive and realistic schedules.

• Identify critical path activities and potential risks to project timelines, and support coming up with mitigation strategies.

• Monitor project progress and performance and provide weekly updates to stakeholders.

• Conduct schedule analysis and variance analysis to identify deviations from baseline plans and document recovery plans.

• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and discussions to provide scheduling insights and support decision-making.

• Maintain documentation of schedule changes, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Work with engineering and operations teams to incorporate technical, logistical, contractual, and programmatic changes into the IMS on a real-time basis to maintain accurate and current Project baselines and projections, and to establish realistic and attainable project execution goals and objectives.

• Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual work.

Minimal Qualifications:

• 5+ years' of experience managing IMS's in the Defense and Space industry.

• Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in assisting product teams in project planning and integrated scheduling practices and techniques associated with utilizing Microsoft Project.

• Must possess a working knowledge of engineering development programs driven from DOD and/or NASA acquisitions.

• Previous experience in supporting the development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and resource loaded schedules.

• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and practices.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Thrives in fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in the circuit board design and/or manufacturing field.

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus.
