Experienced Commercial Carpenter

Job Description

We are a commercial construction company specializing in office building remodels and new builds. While we appreciate those who have residential building experience candidates for this position must have previous experience working in interior commercial construction, (i.e. metal studs and ACT ceilings).

Responsibilities

Read blueprints, drawings and sketches and be able to layout accordingly

Proficient in interior and exterior metal stud framing, must have 5+ years experience

Walk stilts and install ACT ceilings

Build window frames, doors, staircases and install hardware

Finish drywall when necessary

Skills

Proven experience as carpenter

Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials especially metal studs

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

Ability to read technical documents and drawings

Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

Good physical condition and endurance

Must have reliable transportation

Must be able to work 7:00a - 4:00p, Monday thru Friday. Tardiness and absences will not be tolerated.Company Description
