Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Physician Assistant to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. The hospital's NICU offers:

State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU

The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year

Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service

Primary responsibilities include p roviding coverage at our Level-III NICU

All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage

In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage

Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home

Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

Qualifications

Current certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Minimum of a master's degree

Applicants must have completed a Neonatal PA training program or have current PA experience in a Neonatal ICU.
