Job Title: Powder Coater
Schedule: 8am-5pm
Reports To: Plant Manager
General Job Description:
Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning and masking as necessary
Operate any tools needed to prepare surfaces for powder
Apply powder coating using the appropriate equipment
Ensure even coverage and proper adhesion of powder coating
Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired results
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience & Other Requirements:
High school diploma, G.E.D. or its equivalent
Prior experience with powder coating
Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Must have proven professional qualities including strong initiative, integrity, and the desire and ability to work effectively as a member of various work teams.
Must be able to interpret documents such as safety guidelines, method sheets, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Work overtime as needed when business demands require.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time.
Work environment includes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators.
