Substation Engineer

Design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of substations.

Analyze and resolve complex engineering issues in coordination with field operations and other departments.

Ensure compliance with national, state, and local regulations and company policies.

Prepare and review engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, and reports.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize substation operations.

Provide technical support for substation operations and maintenance.

Manage projects from inception through completion, including budgeting and scheduling.

Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

5+ years of experience in substation design, construction, or maintenance.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and power generation and distribution.

Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Ability to work in both team and independent settings.

Willingness to travel as required by projects.
