Summary:
The Associate Director of Business Operations will be responsible for leading a team for managing and optimizing the operational aspects of R&D China. This role will focus on risk and compliance management, audit, cross-functional productivity initiatives, event activity management, facility alignment, EHS and other activities to ensure the smooth operation and alignment of activities with the company's overall business strategy.
Responsibilities:
1. Risk and Compliance Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies, including data privacy, cross-border data transfer requirements, EHS etc
2. Cross-functional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and maintain SOPs that streamline processes, ensure consistency, and promote best practices across the R&D organization.
3. Productivity Enhancement: Identify and implement initiatives to improve cross-functional productivity, including process optimization, technology adoption, and resource allocation.
4. Event Activity Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee R&D-related events, including scientific conferences, workshops, and internal meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among participants.
5. Facility Management: Manage R&D facilities to ensure well-maintained, compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
6. Pursue proactively opportunities to enhance external reputation for the R&D site, including but not limited to qualification of the site for recognition of operational & scientific excellence.
