Litigation Paralegal (Medical Malpractice/Personal Injury)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Experience: 3-5 years

We are currently seeking a talented Litigation Paralegal to join our esteemed medical malpractice defense group. Responsibilities:

Organize case documents, obtain and review medical records, and prepare comprehensive summaries.

Assist in deposition preparation, scheduling, and transcript indexing.

Conduct research on expert witnesses, manage subpoenas, and draft pleadings.

Perform legal research, compile findings, and maintain accurate case calendars.

Draft and send various pleadings and documents to counsel, courts, and clients as needed, including routine correspondence, deposition notices, briefs, motions, orders, petitions, and discovery.

File and coordinate service of documents, ensuring compliance with court requirements.

Manage scheduling order deadlines for multiple cases filed in various jurisdictions, both state and federal, and maintain an accurate calendar.

Draft, update, and maintain spreadsheets to track the status of cases.

Assist in document review, organization, and production.

Support with depositions, exhibit preparation, and reviewing deposition transcripts.

Maintain general case files organization, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery.

Review court dockets and electronic filing notifications.

Desired Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in a litigation paralegal role.

Strong preference for experience in Medical Malpractice or Personal Injury law.

Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case calendaring.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
