About the Role

Teranet is currently looking for an

Intermediate Java Developer /QA to design, develop, and implement software applications and enhance existing Java based components. Looking for a strong developer that understands the fundamentals of JAVA and back-end technologies with some front-end. You will join a team that develops shared services and billing systems at Teranet. The team embraces Agile development, DevOps, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery / deployment models.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop new applications and web services

Provide enhancements to existing applications / back-end development

Triage production issues, assist with integration support, and participate with releases

Prepare and maintain technical documentation

Assist on production issues and second level support

About You

Developer Skillset/experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum 3 years of Java development experience

Experience with Java 11 plus, JavaScript, J2EE, JPA, JSP

Experience with Web Services (REST & SOAP)

In depth knowledge of core Java

Experience with Spring Framework / Spring boot 3

Experience with Microservice Architecture and Scalable application is nice to have

Experience with Azure APIM

Experience with OCP/Kubernetes

Able to create Design/Architecture documents is nice to have

Well versed with Design patterns

Able to do troubleshooting independently

Well versed with Oracle and Postgres DB

Working knowledge of AMQ and Elastic Search is nice to have

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows OS

Worked in Agile development environment

QA Skillset/experience:

Experience with Test Automation

Able to create SOAP/REST scripts

Able to create Groovy scripts (load test)

Able to create test scenarios and scripts

Working knowledge of SOAP UI, ReadyAPI and Postman
