Our client is searching for a passionate and experienced HR Director, APAC to join their dynamic team based in Singapore. In this strategic role, you will partner with business leaders across multiple offices (Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Philippines, etc.) to drive impactful HR initiatives and ensure a thriving work environment. (Looking for local Singapore based candidates. Salary to SGD-220000)

What You'll Do:

Strategic HR Partner: Become a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing expert guidance on all aspects of HR, including talent management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and workforce planning.

Talent Champion: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent across the region. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to craft compelling job descriptions and ensure successful candidate identification.

Culture Catalyst: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects the organization values. Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration and high employee engagement.

Change Agent: Identify areas of improvement in current HR practices and policies, recommending and implementing strategic solutions in partnership with stakeholders.

HR Subject Matter Expert: Leverage your deep HR knowledge to advise on best practices in organizational effectiveness, compensation, leadership development, and other relevant areas.

Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to all policies and local labor laws across the region, working closely with the Employment and Labor Relations team.

Results-Oriented: Analyze HR data and metrics to develop data-driven solutions and programs that enhance business outcomes.

Qualifications

A seasoned HR professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA would be an advantage. Preferably in a multinational company operating in the Asia Pacific region, including but not limited to HK, SG, Philippine, India, Japan, etc. Strong knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and HR practices in multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region.

Full hand on experience to set up full office in Japan and Korea with full knowledge in SEA region HR Best practice. Proven track record of success in a multinational company operating in the Asia Pacific region (excluding Greater China). Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR practices across multiple Asia Pacific countries.

Expertise in talent management, encompassing talent acquisition, succession planning, talent development, and performance management. Experience addressing complex employee relations issues and driving employee engagement initiatives. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. A passion for building strong relationships and partnering effectively with business leaders.
