Print and Digital Graphic Design (90%)
Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials.
Develop graphics, illustrations, and other creative materials for print, web, social, and other digital platforms that is on-brand, reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences.
Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications.
Study design request briefs and determine requirements.
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
Prepare initial rough drafts and present ideas to internal stakeholders.
Work with copywriters and strategists to produce final design.
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.Other Duties as Assigned (10%)

The Graphic Designer leads the design of enrollment marketing’s advertising, print, and digital materials, maintaining consistency with the university brand standards and delivering to prospective students. Provides services in the form of design layout and production, as well as photo selection/editing, and plays a key role in executing the overall enrollment marketing strategy. Designs and produces both online and print publications and materials.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, journalism, or relevant field, and 1 year of related experience, OR an Associate’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms, as evidenced in application materials.
Experience with Adobe design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, as evidenced in application materials and interviews.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education.
Experience applying creative and innovative visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images.
Three years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably in higher education or with a creative or marketing agency.
Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.
Experience creating motion graphics.
