Key Account Manager – Taste & Wellbeing, your future role?

Our comprehensive knowledge of local flavours, global footprint and strategic insights ensure close partnerships with our customers. With a customized approach to product creation, recent acquisitions, and the launch of our 2025 strategy, Givaudan’s Flavours-Taste & Wellbeing (T&W) business is a powerhouse of knowledge, innovation, and creativity equipped to surprise customers and consumers with fresh, unique ideas and solutions. Givaudan creates lasting flavour and taste experiences that touch emotions across segments including beverages, sweet goods, savoury and snacks, and food service.

Reporting to the Andean Region Sales Manager, you will aim to deliver sales and profit growth through direct customer relationship, integrating your internal partners in development projects following Givaudan strategy. If you are passionate about delivering on the customer sales target and generating new wins in all main categories, then you will make an impact.

You will be based in our corporate office located in Bogota, working four days onsite and one from home a week.

In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be:

Account Management:

Assume lead role for all Givaudan activities for designated accounts.

Lead and influence strategic account planning.

Develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts. Develop thoughtful understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data.

Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans.

Negotiate and Collaborate:

Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Flavor Creation and Application.

Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical to technical interface.

Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch.

Negotiate pricing agreements following company guidelines.

Business Development:

Grow our business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and by generating a broad base of new business opportunities.

Cultivate customer relationships with important decision-makers, positioning us as preferred supplier and ensuring we are positioned to participate in targeted briefs and on core supplier lists.

You

Your professional profile includes:

University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering or other related fields.

At least 7 years' successful sales, business development or customer relationship experience in food, chemical or related industries, with knowledge of B2B environment.

Fluent English.

Determination to achieve with a commitment to Ethics and Compliance.

Sound ability to create new business by identifying unmet customer needs.

Apply strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting skills.

Experience accomplishing all account management steps in the brief handling process; understand how to manage scale-ups.

Project Management skills.

Experience managing activities remotely.
