Location: Scotts Valley, CA – Hybrid – OR – Remote

Our Business Systems team is growing! This team is responsible for the creation of process improvement and automation solutions across the Manufacturing Operations functions. As the Manufacturing Operations Transformation Business Analyst, you will lead matrix teams, be a subject matter expert, and driver behind projects that make a lasting impact at Universal Audio.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with external/internal customers and stakeholders to analyze information and business needs to deliver functional and technical requirements to applications development teams

Deliver solutions that successfully translate desired business outcomes

Identify business process best practices and work with key stakeholders to deliver process improvements

Conduct prototypes, develop functional specifications and data mapping

Lead test plan development and execution

Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, use cases, data, and workflow analysis

Deconstruct high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

Investigate processes and performs root cause analysis for incidents and problems

Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

Retrieve and analyze data from multiple sources to create reports and present them for use by the business functions. Provide primary support for daily reporting and respond to ad hoc informational requests

Assist with system configuration - fields, workflows, roles/permissions, rules, reports, and dashboards

Act as the liaison between the business functions and technology teams

Support IT compliance requirements, such as SOX, information security, GDPR and others

Ability to manage projects in order to cash, Fulfillment, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Costing and Manufacturing areas, Warehouse Operations, Receiving Logistics, Product Life Cycle Management, Inventory Management, WIP

Ability to support month end close process from costing, inventory management and shipping standpoint

Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Highly collaborative individual with the ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment

Ability to work under limited direction with a moderate degree of maturity, discretion, and judgment

Exposure to working with SLA’s, Change Control processes, and project tracking systems such as Jira

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

NetSuite administrator or Functional experience with NetSuite Advanced Inventory Management, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Costing, Advanced Manufacturing and Advanced Procurement, Advanced Inventory Management modules

NetSuite certification(s) preferred

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience

5+ years Business Analyst experience preferred.

UA Salary Range/Hourly Rate of Pay: California Salary Range = $115K - $180K

Base salary/hourly rate of pay will be based on the cost of labor for the city/state in which the new hire resides, at the time of hire.
