Part-Time, Assistant Lab Manager We are a leading urgent care center dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to our community.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Assistant Lab Manager.

The Assistant Lab Manager will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our laboratory.

This includes assisting with day-to-day lab activities as well as be responsible for preparing for and completing CLIA inspections, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with DHEC procedures, and training lab technicians.

Job Responsibilities Assist in overseeing minimal day-to-day laboratory operations including specimen handling, processing, and testing.

Aid in preparing for DHEC CLIA inspections and ensure compliance with CLIA regulations.

Complete DHEC CLIA inspections and address any findings or deficiencies promptly.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including test results, quality control data, and equipment maintenance logs.

Take responsibility for laboratory maintenance, including cleanliness, organization, and calibration of equipment.

Ensure that laboratory manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are current and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Train and supervise laboratory techs, guiding proper techniques and protocols.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate test results and facilitate effective communication.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology 1 year of previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, with knowledge of DHEC CLIA regulations and inspections.

Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Requirements of the Job Will require travel between the Greenville and Boiling Springs office
