Summary of Position:

Are you a seasoned Quality Manager looking for a dynamic opportunity in the automotive industry? MMI is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Quality Manager at our Warren location. Essential Functions:

Implement and maintain Quality and Environmental Management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF16949 and ISO14001.

Direct and plan the Internal Audit program, including the development of Internal Auditors.

Develop policies and procedures specific to Quality Assurance and provide support and guidance to other functions.

Participate in and advance Quality Planning activities, including Supplier Development.

Oversee and manage activities in the Quality laboratory.

Ensure the creation and submission of PPAP packages to gain customer approval.

Oversee the maintenance of PFMEA's and Control plans for new and existing products.

Supervise the creation and updating of Process books for the manufacturing floor.

Manage Document and Records Control across all functions.

Interface with customers for corrective and preventive actions related to plant, warranty, and service parts issues.

Provide coaching and counseling for Corrective Actions and Improvement.

Qualifications:

Minimum five years' experience in Quality Management, preferably in the North American Automotive industry.

Demonstrated experience in APQP, PFEMA, Process flow diagrams, and control plans.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, packaging, or equivalent experience.

Background in plastics injection molding and assembly.

Proven experience with setting up and implementing operator policies and procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Lean systems training is a plus.
