We are seeking a dynamic PM Laundry Attendant to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area.

2. Sweep and mop laundry room at the start of the day.

3. Sort dirty linen from laundry carts to be processed for laundering.

4. Check and take care of any stained linen (follow re-wash procedures)

5. Clean dryer lint filters three times per day.

6. Keep supply carts stocked.

7. Notify immediate supervisor of stock shortages and/or malfunctioning equipment.

8. Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations as instructed by OSHA.

9. Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions.

10. Attend relevant meetings.

11. Utilize the sewing machine for alterations.

12. Understand and comply with proper sewing techniques, procedures and brand standards.

13. Properly and safely use sewing machines and supplies.

14. Prolonged walking and standing.

15. Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, reading road signs, etc.

16. Safety and Hygiene terms.

17. May be required to work nights, weekends, and /or holidays.

18. Must be able to prioritize.

19. Must be able to multitask.

Core Competencies

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Related experience in hospitality preferred
