Job Summary- Perform Ground Maintenance along various highways along The Port Authority of NY/NJ, Newark Liberty Airport. Working with a crew of 10 to maintain the cleanliness of various parking lots with the use of a trash picker and areas permitted/ assigned by the Management Team of The Port Authority to cut any overgrowth, clear debris and trash including, but not limited to batteries, paper, bottles, car parts, trash, ties, lumbar, construction debris, brush, and all other types of household trash with the use of paper grabbers, hand and power tools such as, but not limited to 42 gallon trash bags, weed whackers, leaf blowers, trimmers, brush cutting blades, weed cutting spools, backpack blower and chain saw.

Job Qualifications-

Must be 18 Years of age or older

Must have experience in Labor

Able to communicate efficiently verbally and written English

Physically able to perform assigned work; stoop, walk, bend, lift over 50lbs, kneel, crouch, climb.

Pay attention to detail

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Proven to have previous work experience, skills, and knowledge.

Require a state ID prefer a DL

Strong work ethic, communication and SafetyWork Conditions-Employee will work outside of the perimeter of Newark Liberty International Airport, along various highways assigned. Must be able to work in all weather conditions when acceptable, like rain, heat, cold, etc. Shift is Morning- up to 8 hours and varies from time to time when requested by The Port Authority. Staffing needs may require shift to change with the approval of Manager. Willing to follow instructions and drive in Company vehicle with team to designated areas. Ensure that you communicate any vehicle/ tool maintenance concerns with Supervisor. Ensure or communicate when tools have no oil, fuel leaks/free from excess grease to ensure equipment has met working standards to avoid work cancellation.

Work Schedule- Monday- Friday, 7am-3:30pm, 6am-2:30 or 8am-4:30pm; Wednesdays are late nights from 9am- 5:30pm or 10am-6:30pm. Any make up time due to cancellation must NOT be Overtime and approved by the Company of ICCG, Inc.
