Inventory Clerk

Job Description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintain accurate inventory data in PRMS and providing support as needed in the inventory department. This requires daily counting and adjustments of packaging, film, raw and finished goods inventories.

Job Functions Statements- Essential Functions

Timely and accurate inventory of finished goods, raw materials, packaging, film.

Accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.

Follow proper documentation procedures in accordance to company policies.

Interface with production, warehouse, scheduling purchasing, etc., as needed.

Inventory variance review, research, and explanations needed. Also follow-up on findings of that research s corrective actions where appropriate. This also includes MUV research and reports as required or requested by the Accounting department of Inventory Manager.

report Peco inventory on a daily basis and an explanation for any variances.

Maintain files so that they are readily available for review.

Communicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing and Transportation team on a regular basis (proactive communication and information sharing as needed).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills

Good communication skills

Computer knowledge: MS Word and Excel

Highly motivated individual who is a self starter

Ability to Multi Task

Team orientated

Ability to work days or nights and weekends as necessary

Ability to work in cold environment (under 34 degrees)

Ability to work in wet environment with prolonged standing, noise exposure, and climbing stairs, frequent bending.
