Job description
We are looking for a professional Nurse Practitioner who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records, and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. The successful candidate will work as a team with our nurses and physicians and will assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient.
Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate new patient consultation and health history review
Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients in office or via telemedicine video
Order and administer tests including bloodwork
Review and interpret test results
Diagnoses health problems
Detect changes in patient condition
Operate medical equipment
Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed
Provide after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families
Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, condition changes, etc.
Consult with other healthcare professionals as needed
Deliver quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics
Requirements
Master's degree in nursing required
Current New Mexico state nurse practitioner license required
Hours - Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $64.75 - $67.50 per hour
