Forecasting Coordinator

Reports to: VP of AdministrationHours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Description: The Forecasting Coordinator will work closely with various departments to assist with forecasting quantities, manage inventory targets, resolve accuracy discrepancies, and coordinate shipments from various suppliers.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather demand forecasts.

Analyzing historical sales data and market trends to generate accurate supply forecasts.

Adjusting forecasts based on changes in demand, supply, or market conditions.

Evaluating the accuracy of forecasts and continuously improving forecasting processes.

Reporting on key supply chain metrics and performance indicators.

Assisting in inventory optimization efforts to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Supporting new product launches and promotions with accurate supply forecasts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate decision-making across various departments within the organization.

Must have a strong working knowledge with computers, email, and office productivity software suites.

High degree of numeracy and analysis.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Knowledge of inventory management principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of inventory models, forecasting methods, and inventory control procedures; database management skills; spreadsheet analysis skills; understand logistics operations and inventory flows; understand inventory/accounting relationships.
