Sr Financial Analyst - FP&A

Summary: This position will focus on a combination of financial analysis projects for the CFO and accounting support for the Controller and senior staff accountants. There will also be special projects related to internal controls, and enhancements to the financial reporting systems.

Accounting & Reporting Projects

Lead and manage various special projects in the Accounting Department aimed at improving reporting systems and reducing the closing cycle time

Financial Analysis

Performs ad hoc financial analysis for the CFO and department heads

Assists with the annual budget process and perform monthly budget variance analysis

Prepares analyses and reports for the quarterly board meetings

Assist senior staff accountants with monthly close cycle

There will also be special projects related to internal controls, enhancements to the financial reporting systems and transaction-related ad hoc analysis.

Reporting & Database Projects

Lead and manage various special projects in the Accounting/Finance Department aimed at improving reporting systems and reducing the closing cycle time

Work with Data Architect to further integrate accounting and ERP system databases

Develop long-term data room compilation in support of private equity investors

Financial Analysis

Cash Forecasting and treasury analysis

Perform ad hoc financial analysis for the CFO and department heads

Assist with the annual budget process and perform monthly budget variance analysis

Prepares analyses and reports for quarterly board meetings

Accounting Cycle Support

Assist senior staff accountants with monthly close cycle

Assist with operating department heads’ questions regarding P&L performance and expenditures in support of long-term growth plans and KPI optimization

Prepare support files for auditors and tax consultants

Assists Controller with treasury management and related tasks
