Working under general supervision, the Manager, FC Inventory Control will lead a team of data specialists responsible for building scalable reporting and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our company’s data. They will also monitor, evaluate, and analyze all facets of inventory management within the Distribution (and Refurb Centers not sure if Refurb will be part of scope yet or not), with particular emphasis on maintaining data integrity through loss control procedures. Reporting to the Director of Inventory Control, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data quality and warehouse process issues and develop solutions to resolve them.

What you’ll do:

· Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance team of analysts and associates that are able to gather, interpret, and report on data necessary to enhance FC operational efficiency and overall inventory health

· Think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions, and present results to operations partners and business stakeholders

· Lead the team by identifying growth opportunities; collaborating cross functionally to structure, measure, and execute tests to improve our data reliability

· Deliver high quality insights and dashboards for executive level consumption

· Drive continuous improvement – work with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement and provide data driven recommendations for business enhancements

· Act as a key driver of analytics, conducting regular presentations on findings for set KPIs

· Cross functional collaboration and influence - Identify and resolve root causes of inventory losses, working with cross-functional partners to track trends of causes, recommendation for remediation, and tracking improvement

· Work with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and reporting needs, guiding your team to develop scalable reporting that supports self-service efficiencies

· SOX compliance – effectively perform controls such as inventory accuracy reviews and cycle count completion

What you need:

· Superb written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to senior, cross-functional stakeholders

· Ability to contextualize data and insights within the business context and communicate findings to technical and non-technical teammates

· Degree in mathematics, statistics, data analytics, supply chain management processes or a related field. Relevant professional experience in lieu of preferred degree to be considered

· 4+ years experience in a fulfillment focused role in areas such as data engineering, business intelligence, operations, or analytics

· Hands on experience working with a modern analytics tech stack (Looker, Google BigQuery, PowerBI, Warehouse Management System, etc) preferred

· Proven Continuous Improvement or Lead methodologies experience

· Strong business insight and customer focus; an analytical thinker who is data-driven with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs

· Problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to articulate path forward based on data

· Ability to think strategically and implement tactically, a persistent attention to detail and a high level of comfort working with numbers

· Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
