Air Export Forwarding Logistics

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Air Export Forwarding Logistics. In this role, you would be responsible for handling air and ocean import cargo, predominantly air from the very start of the process to the end.

Pay Rate

$22.00 – $28.00 DOE.

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Air Export Forwarding Logistics Duties and Responsibilities

Quoting for new shipments

Arranging bookings with origin office

Monitoring and tracking cargo along the shipment lifecycle.

Communicating with clients, vendors and internal agents as needed

Ensuring documents are received and correct.

Handover to brokers for clearance

Reaching out to truckers for delivery rates, negotiating costs, scheduling deliveries.

Calculating rates and billing shipments

Air Export Forwarding Logistics Qualifications and Requirements

6 months – 1 Year of Air export forwarding logistics experience is required.

Cargo-wise software experience preferred.

High School Diploma or GED Required

Highly organized and self-motivated

Quality conscious and detail-oriented

Excellent Communication Skills

Ability to multi-task

No trucking or Warehouse Logistics
