Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Program Solutions Engineer. SageSure is seeking an individual to oversee the technical analysis, development, user acceptance testing (UAT) and delivery of strategic projects. The Program Solutions Analyst role will develop a breadth of subject-matter expertise on topics which include SageSure’s insurance products, operations, and user experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a demonstrated executive presence.

What you’d be doing:

Collaborate on the implementation of new insurance programs, portfolios, or product launches using SageSure’s technology ecosystem.

Understand the intricacies of the insurance program technology ecosystem and conduct technical impact analysis of new program launches.

Identify opportunities for improvement in product authoring tools and assist in automation enhancements.

Collaborate closely with software engineering and technical teams to ensure precise implementation of new portfolio additions.

Act as a cross-functional technical insurance product liaison, engaging with line of business owners and stakeholders from different disciplines and competencies.

Use critical thinking skills to deliver innovation and practical solutions to solve complex problems.

Communicate and navigate effectively with stakeholders from different disciplines and competencies with a demonstrated executive presence.

Uphold the established standard of excellence for quality and timely project delivery.

Prepare technical document including reference manuals and job aids

Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.

We’re looking for someone who has:

Bachelor's degree in business, actuarial, computer science, or related field.

Strong math aptitude and analytic thinking.

Advanced Excel competencies and experience with complex formulas and VBA.

Applied knowledge of SQL/TSQL/XML/HTML/JSON.

Detail-oriented and a structured thinker.

Enterprise mindset with a passion for improvement.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines while working independently.

Proficiency in written and oral communication skills. Ability to create functional documentation.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

Previous experience in Property & Casualty insurance industry is preferred.

Applied knowledge of SQL/TSQL/XML/HTML/JSON.

Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python, R.

Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and GitLab.

Experience with workforce management software (JIRA).

Proficiency in data analytics tool Alteryx.
