A leading player in the motor industry that specialises in selling luxury vehicles for the elite has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chief Operations Officer to join their team.

As the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of the company within the motor industry. Working closely with the executive team, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be pivotal in achieving our business objectives and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities

Operational Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for streamlining operations and implementing best practices to maximize productivity and reduce costs

Supply Chain Management: Oversee the management of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products and services

Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards across all operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations

Performance Monitoring: Implement systems to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports to the executive team and making recommendations for improvement

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement technology solutions to optimize operations, enhance automation, and improve decision-making processes

Risk Management: Identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and resilience

Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach throughout the organization, driving initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and engineering, to align operational objectives with overall business goals

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Minimum of 10 years experience within a similar operations field

Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the motor industry, with a track record of success in driving operational excellence and business growth

Strong understanding of motor industry dynamics, including manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and regulatory requirements

Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results

Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

Proficiency in technology utilization for operations optimization, including ERP systems, data analytics tools, and automation solutions

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities
