Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 5 years sales or customer relationship management experience is essential
Experience within the meat processing or FMCG industry will be highly advantageous
Excellent communication and negotiating skills will be required for this role
Must be computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Must be preparedness to work weekends and overtime when required
A valid drivers license and willingness to travel is essential for this role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining successful business relationships with customers at Buyer to Top Management level.
Performing daily sales activities
Actively seeking new customers and engaging with potential customers.
Conducting regular visits to customers.
Identifying new product development opportunities by analysing customer needs and liaising with the Product Development department.
Introducing new products to the market.
Reporting on KPIs, market activity and current projects.
Keeping up with market trends, competitor pricing strategies and company objectives.
Assisting with and resolving client queries within company agreed timelines and providing feedback to all relevant parties.
Preparing and presenting professional presentations to customers.
