CNC Machinist

Job Description

•\tRead dimensions and tooling instructions from work orders and drawings/blueprints.

•\tPerform machine set-up by ensuring proper programs, tooling and offsets are used.

•\tLoad and unload raw material and parts, ensuring proper part alignment and positioning using part holding clamps, jaws, and chucks.

•\tMonitor machine operation to detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance operations and adjust machine controls as required.

•\tVerify machine calibration and settings by measuring parts against drawings, using micrometers (ID and OD), dial calipers, and dial indicators.

•\tProduce consistent, quality parts within tolerances of .0005"

•\tMachine operators are responsible for fit, finish, and cleaning of each part produced.Company Description
