Mental Health Therapist (LPC, APC, LMFT, MSW, LMSW, LCSW)

Community Based, School Based and Telehealth Positions available

Position: Therapist

Location: Dallas, GA and surrounding areas

Education & Experience Required :

A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health direct care or social services field. Experience working with children and adults with severe and persistent mental health disorders in a community and in office mental health setting;

A minimum of a Master’s degree in the fields of human services, counseling, or psychology AND independent licensure or working towards independent licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, PHD.

Therapist is responsible for all or part of the following duties :

Maintain a caseload as assigned

Implement individual and family therapy with each client in office

Write treatment plans for each assigned individual and family

Track each assigned individual authorizations and submit new authorization requests as needed

Attend supervision meeting with Clinical Director

Conduct new family orientation within 2 days of case assignment

Consult with referral agencies and collateral contacts as needed

Identify community linkage resources in preparation for discharge

Attend treatment related court hearings

Submit all billable and non-billable progress notes within 48 hours

Attend investigation reviews of serious incidents related to the clients on your caseload as needed

Participate in monthly case and chart reviews with the Clinical Director as needed

Submit crisis intervention documentation, if any, daily to the Clinical Director

Ability to work non-traditional hours

Attend agency monthly meetings/trainings

Basic computer skills

Additional duties as assigned

You will be required to have the following completed:

CPR

CPI

TB test

Essential learning courses through Relias Learning

Background check

If under supervision with a supervisor of record, we will need a copy of the contract and monthly supervision logs (ongoing)
