Duties & Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS) and associated devices
Ability to perform (BAS) service calls with little or no support
Strong customer skills
Perform calibration of various types of building automation controls
Assist in developing and maintaining building automation control SOO and documentation
Assist in the development of building automation control programs
Install, program, and maintain (BAS)
Develop and maintain graphic user interface (GUI) of building automation system using frontend software
Preform (BAS) preventive maintenance including regular system backups and evaluations of systems for errors
Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC maintenance, or related field experience preferred
3-5 years’ experience in a control’s technician or similar role
Strong computer skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Working knowledge of DDC systems such as Niagara N4, JCI, Trane, Honeywell, and/or Distech controls
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field experience
5+ years’ experience in a control’s technician or similar role
Certification from an accredited trade school or apprenticeship program
Strong understanding of all aspects of building automation systems
Niagara N4 certification

Serving the front range area of Colorado from Fort Collins in the North to Colorado Springs in the south. As a subcontractor we install and service a variety of HVAC BAS brand including Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier. We typically deploy Tridium Niagara N4 as our user interface of choice.
