Certified/Registered Medical Assistant

Job Description

Maryland Vascular Specialists (MVS) is looking for a personable, hardworking Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for our Rosedale, MD territory which includes our offices in Essex, and Rosedale, Abingdon, and Havre De Grace. This is a full-time position Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. This position offers a competitive salary based on experience, 401k, health/dental/vision insurances, paid vacation & sick time, along with many other great benefits. Travel between the offices listed above will be required.

This position includes:

Rooming & Triaging Patients

Chart Preparation

Answering phone calls, as well as taking messages

Interacting with patients, physicians, medical offices, etc

Daily use of Medical EMR system

Teamwork to ensure a successful patient experience

Insurance authorizations

Scheduling appointments

These duties are among other responsibilities and tasks in compliance with MVS standards.

**A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable form of transportation is required. It is preferred that you have experience using an EMR system and are familiar with standard computer technology tasks and functions. It is also vital that a candidate displays exceptional customer service and values patient satisfaction as a top priority. Overall, we are looking for a cheerful, dedicated individual who will deliver their very best to their coworkers and every patient, every day, during every interaction.
