Direct Hire Opportunity

Pay: $50K - $60K annually

Location: Woodlands PKWY/45 North Area

Work schedule: Monday -Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (No Weekends)

Software used: On-Screen Takeoff Software, and AutoCAD

Must be able to read Blueprints and Commercial Building Plans

What does the Ideal Resume look like? This role is fully in office, sitting at a desk, inputting project information into a CRM platform from the plan sets and specifications and completing on-screen takeoffs from those same plan sets. It is helpful to have a background in construction. Ideal candidate will need to know how to read plan sets, use takeoff software, and AutoCAD.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review invitations to bid on projects from multiple General Contractors for your assigned region(s).

• Reviewing blueprints and specifications for each job to input an accurate and detailed full scope of work into our custom-built CRM platform.

• Performing material and labor takeoff using in house software

• Ability to create and draw roofing details using AutoCAD software.

• Create RFI's and communicate those to customers and their estimators.

• Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process.

• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

• Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of basic construction principles

• Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans for commercial buildings.

• 2 - 4 years of construction experience preferred

• Experience in performing material takeoff.

• Familiarity with using AutoCAD
