We are looking for a detail oriented Statutory Reporting Manager to join our international team. The successful incumbent will join collaborative external reporting and accounting team. Reporting to the Director for Global Tax, this role will ideally suit a technically strong, qualified accountant (5 years PQE) with an auditing background with public clients and experience with IFRS accounting standards. You will be a strong communicator, taking ownership and accountability for the statutory reporting requirements for EMEA and APAC entities.

How you will help:

Overseeing the statutory reporting requirements for 8+ EMEA and APAC entities, covering annual audits and income tax filings.

Ownership of the preparation and review of annual statutory financial statements.

Oversee and review of international tax returns (monthly/ quarterly & annual filings as applicable by region)

Maintenance of GAAP to Stat adjustments and support papers for local filings.

Partner with the corporate finance team on accounting matters of all non-routine financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, liquidations, and corporate restructurings.

Guiding the review on new applicable IFRS accounting standards, preparing accounting memos where required for local audits.

Analyze current/proposed accounting pronouncements for potential implications on the financial statements and propose best alternatives. Help implement accounting standards and other such financial reporting requirements to which we may be subject.

Preparing board signing packs and fluctuation analysis of annual accounts for review by directors.

Drive and manage timelines and expectations with internal and external stakeholders for the statutory reporting process e.g. legal, treasury, audit teams and tax advisors, taking ownership of compliance with all statutory filing deadlines.

Manage multiple workstreams and deadlines & oversee workflow of direct support staff.

Execution and documentation of quarterly and annual internal controls for US SEC filings.

Assisting the Director of Tax on OECD Transfer Pricing reports.

Partnering with the corporate finance team on ad hoc projects as required.

Who we have in mind:

Public accounting background

ACA/ACCA qualified (3-5 years PQE)

Technically strong (understanding of IFRS, FRS 101 & international accounting standards)

Experience working in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Understanding of international tax compliance

Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with accountability for assigned areas

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to new initiatives

Strong demonstrable work ethic

It would be great if you had:

Big 4 Public accounting experience

Experience with Workday

Highly proficient with Office and experience with Macros and big data analysis a plus.
