This position is responsible for the development, implementation and measurement of the pricing strategy in alignment with the Global Pricing Strategy and Policy. The role will support and lead the implementation of the Pricing Software and will closely engage with the commercial team to make sure the pricing strategy and profitability goals are being met.

Primary Strategic Pricing business partner across the company with the ability to influence and implement the pricing strategies as set out by management. Lead projects cross-functionally and optimally communicate to all upstream/downstream partners to ensure understanding of strategy, Pricing project plan and impact. Build, implement and manage all KPI’s and design/apply best in class pricing governances, troubleshoot pricing anomalies to drive profitable growth.

Salary range for this position is $135k-160k per year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support and lead the implementation of the Pricing Software based on the Global pricing strategy and policies defined by the company

Implement best practices in price management, including development of accurate pricing and costing models to measure price performance.

Develop, maintain and communicate quantitative pricing tools and analytics.

Price planning and review - utilize analytical tools to set strategic pricing goals and tie them to specific pricing actions.

Price optimization - develop and model guidelines for "optimal" pricing bands by product category and/or customer segment to optimize margin. Utilize tools, analytics, and other metrics to recommend price strategies to enhance margins and maximize customer profitability.

Price management - implement and enforce policies for pricing decisions, approvals, and notifications/alerts.

Price execution - ensure pricing decisions are consistently maintained in the price agreements and pricing hierarchies.

Effectively communicate on pricing impact and define corrective plans to reach the price impact target as set by the Operating Plan

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing

MBA a strong plus

Experience:

Minimum 3-years in a Pricing role in a B2B environment

Prior/current experience working with a Pricing Software Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus

ERP systems experience required; Experience with Oracle – JD Edwards, Hubble, would be a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong financial modeling and data analysis background to support data driven decision making

Self-starter with a willingness to roll up sleeves and execute the roadmap of the pricing strategy

Highly Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail

Ability to manage confidential information
