Java Developer

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Java Developer to join our team. This will be a 3-month contract to convert Python code into Java.

3 month contract

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid on-site)

Pay: $100,000 to $120,000 salary

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

Identify and fix software defects and bugs

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices

Participate in Agile development process, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning

Keep up-to-date with latest technologies and trends in Java development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

2+ years of professional experience in Java development

Strong knowledge of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming

Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate

Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Familiarity with databases like MySQL or Oracle

Experience with version control systems like Git

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
