Manager Sterile Processing

Overview:

Expected pay for this position is $30.73 - $40.72/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Sterile Processing is responsible for managing and planning a program for the centralization of sterilization, issuance and preparation of medical and surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation ensuring the provision of high quality services in accordance with Medical Center and regulatory requirements. Responsible for assisting in the development of, implementing and administering new services in order to achieve fiscal year business plans. Manages financial, capital and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards, and takes corrective action as necessary.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Associates Degree and 2 years sterile processing or surgical tech experience or High school/GED and 10 years sterile processing or surgical tech experience.

Other skills/knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
