Metro Auto Parks is a privately-owned parking operations and management company. Metro’s Preferred Parking Program currently offers monthly and daily parking at many locations along the rail lines and busways. Qualifications:

3-4 year Degree from Accredited University.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a general manager or assistant general manager with at least two years in the Travel & Leisure industry.

Proven leadership capabilities managing Associates in a 365/24/7 environment, to include interviewing, hiring/firing authority, counseling/coaching and scheduling.

Proactive, assertiveness, and sense of urgency in driving to reach goals.

Independent in putting forth ideas, which are often innovative and, if implemented, cause change.

Resourcefully works through or around anything blocking completion of what needs to be accomplished.

Proactively connects quickly to others; Open and sharing; Builds and leverages relationships to get work done.

Enthusiastically persuades and motivates others by considering their point of view and adjusting delivery.

Collaborative; usually works with and through others. Intuitive understanding of team cohesion, dynamics, and interpersonal relations.

Responsibilities:

Ensure quality service for customers by maintaining 5-7 minute pick up, ease of operation and expeditious exit. Interact and communicate with customers and handle complaints or problems.

Coordinate all cashier, dispatch, valet, driver, and to ensure the proper flow of traffic and personnel to maintain exceptional service for customers. Perform weekly bus timing surveys to ensure proper service requirements.

Assist in maintaining an adequate staff by scheduling, training, and developing subordinate personnel. Approve and coordinate break and meal periods for all scheduled non-exempt staff.

Direct employee relations and promote harmonious work environment.

Maintain facility and van appearance by coordinating regular inspections.

Apply and implement standards relative to changing organizational and staffing needs.

Contribute to the profitability of the Company by closely monitoring costs applicable to staffing during individual shifts. Implement schedule reductions as needed.

Observe all employee functions while maintaining a daily log.

Coach employees for performance improvement and apply progressive disciplinary policy when necessary.

Must be flexible to work various shifts.
