Job Summary

The Part Time/Travel Only Nurse Practitioner provides 9 screenings per day, scanning the organs for early detection of cancer and other medical issues. We will cross-train for echo as needed. This is a multi-site position based in Tampa with frequent expense-paid travel in and out of state 2-3 weeks per month. Must have reliable transportation. Travel week is M-F, always can return home for weekends, all travel expenses paid for. Highly Competitive Per Diem also paid for meals and other expenses.

Administer 9 non-diagnostic annual screenings per day, Monday through Friday, to public safety personnel. Must be able to work with a team as well as interact professionally with patients and client’s Head of Department. Expected to work full time to achieve top of the line physicals as well as deliver screening results to patient with follow-up guidance.

This position requires frequent expense-paid travel for one week at a time, usually two weeks in a row each month with potential for more however always return home for weekends. Travel expenses paid with healthy Per Diem included

Requirements

Education

Master's degree (MSN) required

Certified as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner.

At least 3 years experience as an RN or 3+ years experience as APRN

Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice

BLS Required

ACLS Required

Essential Functions

Must be able to provide a general health exam. Should be comfortable with giving all general lab work results and guidance for abnormalities. Should be familiar with general cardiology and pulmonology. Expected to work closely with Ultrasound Sonographer and Exercise Physiologist to deliver ultrasound organ and cardiac/pulmonary findings to the patient and department heads when applicable.
