The Graphic Designer will play a critical role in developing seasonal campaigns, maintaining branding and visually amplifying Forever 21’s retail experience. This role will be responsible in creating collateral for but not limited to in store material, OOH media, internal communications, and product packaging. In this role the Designer will frequently be tasked with delivering multiple creative solutions to complex business problems, while partnering closely with other Designers, Copywriters, Production, Marketers, Merchants.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute compelling visual concepts in the context of a physical retail environment.

Design promotional marketing that enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsible in creating collateral for but not limited to in store material, OOH media, internal communications, and product packaging.

Demonstrate an understanding of the design and print production processes and combine this knowledge with the project objectives and budgets to solve creative challenges.

Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, buying, and merchandising.

Partner closely with team members and cross functional partners to set up timelines and deadlines necessary for timely delivery of projects and creative assets.

Follow brand standards and actively develop graphic standards.

Review all assets, ensuring overall quality, proper placement, grammar, and typography.

Present campaigns to leadership for feedback and approval

Support and collaborate with design team members

Work on Ad-hoc projects and task as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a fine art preferably Graphic Design

Must have 3-4 years of experience in graphic design with a portfolio

High proficiency with Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator and other related programs essential

Strong technical proficiency working in a Mac environment

Strong communication skills. Able to present concepts in a clear and convincing manner to a broad range of audiences

Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team player

Extremely detail-oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment simultaneously contributing to multiple projects each with aggressive development schedules.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

ADDITIONAL DATA

The salary range for this position is $25.35 - $30.98 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.In addition to your salary, Forever 21, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedule and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
