Job title:USRN Trainer (Prior-Authorization)

Job Description:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitate Initial Product and Services training, Attrition training, and Ongoing training, typically in a classroom setting.

Participate and get certified in the Train the Trainer program facilitated by the client.

Responsible for implementation of training courses including outlines and syllabus for the platform they are assigned to.

Responsible for maintenance and inventory of all training material they are assigned to.

Develops and implements report methodology to determine status and to verify their certification into the operation.

Accountable for the quality of all agents brought to the floor sign off methodology.

Adheres to schedule of training programs.

Attends training meetings.

Expands training knowledge through seminars and keeping abreast of current training issues.

Works with Operations and Quality Assurance to understand the largest problem areas of the current agents, to institute into the training process.

Works with operations to design and implement refresher training for current certified agents.

HIPAA Compliance:

1.Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations in all aspects of oncology data abstraction.

2. Enforce privacy and security measures to safeguard patient information.

3. Identify and report potential and active violations of HIPAA compliance to the Compliance officer.

General Safety and Security

Protects the organization’s assets by upholding the principles of the Quality Information Security Management System (QISMS).

Ensures confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information critical to fulfilling the organization’s business functions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Reports to: Associate Training Manager/Training Manager

Education and/or Experience:

Active Philippines Registered Nurse (RN) License;

For USRN Lines of Businesses: Unrestricted US Registered Nurse License (Mainland US and US Territories), with 1-year post education clinical experience;

Experience in adult classroom situations;

Experience managing a dynamic and diverse classroom environment;

Thorough Knowledge of US Healthcare Delivery System;

With thorough understanding of performance SLAs;

With understanding of all binding laws and regulations related to the project

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Active Philippine Certified Registered Nurse (RN) and country mandated license requirements.

For USRN Lines of Businesses: Unrestricted US Certified Registered Nurse (USRN) license, state license requirements, CEUs and state mandate requirements.

Language Skills:

English, additional language a plus.

Computer Skills:

MS Office, Planning, Controlling, Organizing and Management Skills.

Reasoning Ability:

Must be able to problem solve, and determine problems, also to recommend solutions. To seek out better methods of training classes to operate. Strong People Management, customer orientation and Analytical skills.

Work environment:

The work environment is professional, office.

Business casual attire.

Physical demands:

May require weekend, evening, or over-time work.

Work demands:

Complete Cigna training and certification program. Also, meet or exceed quality target or assigned KPI.
