Design Manager - MEP

The Person

We are looking for an MEP Design Manager who has experience of working on major schemes of this type. You will be responsible for the pre-con design management and your role will include:- Review tender documentation and identify project risks.

· Assisting the design team through the scheme / production design stage and the delivery

· team through into implementation and handover.

· Demonstrate design management procedures, prepare design programme and set design deliverables.

· Attend/chair design team meetings as necessary during contract.

· Monitor and report on design progress, statutory approvals, outstanding information required, subcontractor design, environmental/CDM issues.

· Ensure compliance with BREEAM.

· Develop and agree design input/output responsibilities between consultants and subcontractors with design responsibilities.

· Monitor progress and status of RFI's and document control.
