We are seeking a Human Resource Generalist for our medical company client based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The HR Generalist, under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, will assist in all aspects of the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) Department including but not limited to all aspects of HR, hiring, and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, Workers’ Compensation, Training and Development and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Generalist will be responsible for the following:

Duties:

Gathering Benefits data to compile a monthly reconciliation and costs analysis of benefits for the company

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments within ADP Workforce Now

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE:

Benefits, HR training, HR compliance and Employment law knowledge/ experience

ADP Workforce Now Benefits experience.

Employee Benefits Reconciliation processing experience

Ability to work successfully in a team and build effective working relationships.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a Generalist

DETAILS:

Temp-To-Hire Opportunity

Pay Rate = $32-$35/hr.

Monday to Friday from 8 am-5 pm
