IV Hospital Pharmacist (Contract Basis) - Fayetteville, Tennessee

Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IV Hospital Pharmacist to join our team on a contract basis at a reputable healthcare facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and effective preparation and dispensation of IV medications and therapies to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications, including IV solutions, under stringent safety and quality standards.

Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate therapies are administered.

Monitor patient health and progress to adjust medication plans as necessary.

Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and hospital policies.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.

Provide information and advice to patients and healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate patient records and medication stock levels.

Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and assistants.

Participate in clinical programs and health promotion initiatives.

Shift:

Monday - Friday: 7:00am-4:00pm

Saturday - Sunday: 8:00am-12:00pm

Rotating weekends: Every 2nd or 3rd

On-call

Requirements:

TN license clear and active

1+ year or more of recent inpatient experience

IV skills preferred

Willing to work 13+ week assignment
