Position Summary

We're looking to welcome a dynamic Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on web application development to join to our scientific team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and application of LLM-based software to support scientific reasoning. It's a unique opportunity to influence our team’s culture and tackle intricate technical challenges in an innovation-driven environment. This role is among the first hires, and we’re looking for someone who is excited to help drive the technical and scientific direction of the company.

Key responsibilities

Innovate and test novel UI/UX to foster human-AI collaboration.

Lead front-end development and collaborate to integrate front-end and back-end systems.

Promote a collaborative software development environment by adopting Git, participating in code reviews, and delivering reliable software.

Streamline application deployment via Docker containerization and actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field and 5+ years of industry experience or Ph.D. in computer science.

Proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role.

Extensive experience in front-end development with Javascript and React.js

Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript)

Expertise in creating server-side logic using Python.

Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and an eye for design.

Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Energetic self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a startup environment.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize & communicate complex information rapidly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of SaaS product development.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration services like Docker or Kubernetes.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a distinct advantage.
