Open Source Protocol Developer (Bcoin)

Bcoin is an open source fullnode implementation written from scratch in Node.js.

Bcoin is one of three implementations (others being Core & btcd) that have mined a block and used in production today.

We built bcoin specifically for production systems at scale.

Originally created to be used as backend infrastructure for us, bcoin enables companies to spin up consumer-grade bitcoin applications/wallet systems without the long-term concern of scalability, and security.

Companies running on bcoin include BitPay, btc.com, and Ripio.

Experience contributing to open source projects is a must for this role.

Cryptocurrency experience preferred.
