Mechanic Helper

The Mechanic Laborer will support our customer an Elevator Servicing company. The work will be in several buildings in Downtown Austin. As a mechanical laborer you will work under a Sr. Mechanic and will assist in the upgrade and installation of elevator equipment.

LOCATION: Downtown Austin, TX 78701

PAY: $21.00 hour

START DATE: June 17th

POSITION: 12 week Contract

Responsibilities:

Assist Sr. Mechanic in upgrading elevator equipment.

Move tools from truck to worksite daily

Keeping area clean

Load and Unloading Equipment

Breakdown and repair of mechanical parts using hand tools

Reviewing Blueprints for Installation/Troubleshooting

Requirements

Mechanic or general mechanic knowledge is all that is needed.

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Steel or Composite toe work boots or shoes
