Summary The purpose of this position is to support the financial requirements of the Muncie Plant operations.

This position is responsible for the Muncie Plant cost management, general ledger and profit by product reporting.

Additionally, this position will support the consolidated KPI report and perform the reconciliation of the monthly Honda payment for all Hitachi Astemo Indiana, Inc (USIN) locations.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities / Weight of Importance * Cost Management / Product Costing (Muncie): 30% * Customer Cash Application: 25% * Monthly Closing & Reporting (Muncie): 15% * KPI Reporting: 10% * Reconcile Accounts (Muncie / USIN): 10% * Other Duties as Assigned: 10% Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills): * Cost analysis experience * Knowledge of Accounting Operations * Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties Preferred Qualifications: * 4-year College Degree in Accounting and/or Business * 4 years related work experience; prior cost accounting experience is a plus * Knowledge of Glovia/INFOR systems and overall systems understanding Skills and Abilities: * Ability to promote and carry out Hitachi principles.

* Proven ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and be highly motivated * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy * Confers with and prepares reports for upper management and possibly other Hitachi Astemo companies * Maintains clean and orderly work environment in accordance with 6S * Ensures all local, state, and federal laws and regulations are complied within functional area * Interacts with various levels of associates * Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility * Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed Supervisory Responsibilities: * No Software: * Advanced experience with Excel preferred * Intermediate experience with PowerPoint and Glovia preferred Essential to Job Functions – Physical and/or Mental Restrictions: * Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting * Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen Work Environment – Travel, Noise, Smells, Quiet, Indoors or Outdoors, etc.
