Do you love designing secure architectures and getting into the nitty gritty of how systems interconnect?

We’re looking for Security Engineers to look deeply into how Meta’s internal systems interact with third-party systems, ensuring that each of them is best-situated to adhere to smart data access models and the principle of least privilege, and taking advantage of all of the robust protections and detections available.

This hands-on engineering role is on a security engineering team that secures third-party integrations across all of Meta.In this role, you will have the opportunity to solve complex security problems, while minimizing friction and maximizing productivity for the company.

You will be expected to use broad and deep technical knowledge around secure design and integration in the corporate, product, and infrastructure spaces.

You will be pushed to look for scaled engineering opportunities and clever, efficient solutions that improve the security posture in this space.

Your work will be critical to ensuring our third-party integrations don’t introduce more security and privacy risks.

Responsibilities:

Security Engineer- Systems Integration Responsibilities:

Design reviews of existing and incoming third-party SaaS integrations across Meta

Guide developers in remediating existing and/or avoiding future integration architecture mis-steps

Seek opportunities to apply clever, scaled engineering concepts to maximize team efficiency

Qualification and experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years in hands-on information security

Experience in designing secure third-party system integrations

Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Coding/scripting experience in one or more general purpose languages

Experience writing software that enables security processes

Contributions to the broader security community (public research, blogging, presentations, etc)
