Automotive Receptionist

Job Description

Job Summary:

As an Automotive Receptionist at Joe Myers Toyota in Houston, Texas, you will be the first point of contact for customers and guests as they enter our dealership. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is a full-time, hourly administrative role in the auto industry. The scheduled time is Monday thru Friday and Saturday 4pm to 9pm.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and guests with a positive and friendly attitude

- Direct customers to the appropriate department or staff member

- Answer and direct incoming phone calls

- Schedule appointments and follow up with customers as needed

- Process customer payments and maintain accurate records

- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing paperwork

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

- Serve as a liaison between customers and staff members

- Continuously strive to provide excellent customer service and enhance the overall customer experience at our dealership

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the automotive industry

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Professional and friendly demeanor

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Must be able to work full-time and have a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
