3rd Shift CNC Operator

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 3rd Shift CNC Operator to join our team at our facility in Indianapolis, IN, 46236. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines including laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools. This is a 3rd shift position, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain CNC machines such as laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools

Perform machine setups for production runs

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency

Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production

Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

Previous experience operating CNC machines, including laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools

Proficient in machine setups for production runs

Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation

Familiarity with machine brands such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, and Trumpf

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work the 3rd shift schedule
