Job Summary:

Chesapeake, VA

Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a full-time Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse (RN) in Chesapeake, Virginia to join our team! This is a full time day shift contract with the pay rate of $52 per hour. You must have at least 2 years of recent and relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor cardiac patients' conditions, assess any changes, and take appropriate actions

- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician

- Educate patients and their families on cardiac care and self-care techniques

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on patients' conditions

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patients' medical records

- Follow all safety and infection control procedures

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac nursing

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Experience with cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of rhythm strips

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills

- Must pass a background check and drug screening
