We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
Please note that this position is based in the office in Plantation. Hybrid is available.

Duties:
Perform bookkeeping duties such as data entry, recording, and maintaining accurate financial records
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes; vendor bill entry and payments, and posting customer payments
Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy
Prepare and process legal billing
Prepare and process vendor invoices (Accounts Payable)
Assist with payroll processing and posting through third party vendor
Complete bank reconciliations
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks
Follow generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Perform double-entry bookkeeping
Process debits and credits accurately
Skills:
Proficiency in using accounting software, QuickBooks online preferred
Familiar with legal case management system and integration with accounting information
Knowledge of tax procedures and regulations
Ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Detailed knowledge of Excel
Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and an attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Law firm experience a plus
